I’m Aamara, a barber who takes a lot of pride in making sure every client leaves my chair looking clean and feeling even better than when they walked in. I love the details—the sharp lineups, smooth fades, clean tapers, beard work, and those finishing touches that can completely change a look. I’m laid-back, funny, observant, and a little bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my work. My chair is always a vibe. Give me a good playlist, good conversation, and a client who trusts me to do my thing and I’m in my element. And after a long day behind the chair, lemon pepper wings—all flats, will get me right every time. Barbering gives me the perfect mix of creativity and precision. Everybody has their own style, hair texture, and way they like to present themselves, so I’m never interested in giving everybody the exact same cut. Once you’re in my chair, I’m taking my time and getting it right. For me, the best part is that final look in the mirror when the whole attitude changes. Fresh cut, confidence back, and suddenly you’ve got somewhere to be. My chair stays chill, the playlist stays good, and my cuts stay clean.
